Arya Nagar

Arya Nagar is a village panchayat located in the Hisar district of State of Haryana in India, not far from the border with Rajasthan. The village was earlier named as Kurri. Before the advent of Indira Gandhi Canal in the 1970s, the village dependant only on rainwater for irrigation and limited number of crops were grown. The land became fertile after the water from Canal was received in this part of Haryana.
